Elden Ring Will Support Raytracing On Pc

The new Bamco tech support page says that on PC, the game will support resolutions up to 3840x2160, will run at a framerate of “up to 60fps” (so presumably capped), will support HDR, and will support raytracing via a PC. Not a huge amount of info, but it’s something. That page also has info on framerates, resolutions, and save compatibility for the various PlayStations and Xboxes. Still waiting on Elden Ring’s PC system requirements....

Empire Of Sin Adding Mod Support Later This Year

See the Gangster Update patch notes for everything that hit the game today. It’s not hugely exciting but does fix a number of bugs as well as introducing a new weapon proficiency system, making more gangsters available at the start of the game, and promising “major mission improvements.” With this patch out the door, developers Romero Games are looking ahead to new features. “While there’s always work to do and improvements to make, Empire Of Sin has reached a point where we feel we can start shifting our focus towards more new ideas, like we’ve done so far with things like autoresolve, weapon proficiencies, the safehouse rework, and more,” game director Brenda Romero said in today’s announcement....

You won’t be able to browse the games on the Epic Games Store through the Microsoft Store, they’re just letting you download the Epic app....

Fallout 76 Grants Player Request To Add Wheelchairs To The Wasteland

As spotted by PCGamesN, a wheelchair user and Fallout fall named Kelly recently posted her excitement on finding the update had added the mobile chairs to the game. While they’re not useable in the same way, she seemed overjoyed at simply being able to place one inside her player camp. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Manage cookie settings — Kelly (Kel) (@Kytahl) November 25, 2020 Posting on the Fallout 76 Reddit a month ago, Kelly (posting as Kythall) requested whether, as a disabled player herself, it would be possible to get a wheelchair to place in her camp....

Far Cry 6 Announced For February 2021

First, the game’s cinematic title sequence: And here’s a trailer introducing our dictator, Anton Castillo, and his son, Diego. The definitely-not-Cuba-nuh-uh island is in their grip, so it’s up to guerrilla leader Dani Rojas (that’s us) and chums to murder them to bits. Ubisoft haven’t yet shown any of the game beyond a few screenshots but, welp, it’s Far Cry innit. A known quantity, with the only real surprise to be how deftly the latest executes the formula and how good the story is....

Yoshida also mentioned the game’s first planned graphical update, and a partial roadmap of new content to come in future patches. You can watch an archive of the full Letter From The Produce livestream over on Twitch, if you’ve got five hours spare. Currently, FFXIV contains a Trust System via which players can delve into some main scenario dungeons with a party of NPCs. The upcoming patch 6.1 will expand it to all those in A Realm Reborn, with more to be added “at a later date....

Final Fantasy Xiv Fixed On Steam Deck With Proton Experimental Update

As spotted by Gaming On Linux, the latest Proton Experimental patch includes the FFXIV launcher fix alongside a host of other improvements, like fixing video playback in Ghostwire: Tokyo and some crash-proofing for Elden Ring - itself a previous beneficiary of ongoing Proton development. Previously, trying to launch the FFXIV launcher would make it hang forever; this update should make sure it opens as expected, granting passage into the game proper....

Forever Skies Has Delayed The Launch Of Its Airships Into 2023

First revealed back in January, Forever Skies was originally meant to launch into early access before the end of the year. However, the team said they’ve been inundated with feedback following the game’s October Steam Next Fest demo, which reached more than 80,000 players. “We’re now looking at a much larger influx of players picking up the game during Early Access than originally predicted,” they said. “So we want to lay down better foundations for more of our core mechanics so everyone can get a much clearer idea of what else to expect from the future of Forever Skies”....

Former Blizzard Folks Announce Free To Play Rts Stormgate

“The user interface is designed to make RTS more approachable by streamlining inputs, automatically assigning units to control groups, and enhancing gameplay,” the blurb claims. “We’ve lowered the skill floor while keeping the ceiling as high as you want to climb.” I’m always here for lowering the skill floor while preserving a high ceiling. Many developers have tried to make unwelcoming genres like real-time strategy and fighting games friendlier, and I want to see devs continue to try....

Forspoken Cloaks List

Still, it’s a good idea to choose your cloak carefully to improve Frey’s chances of escaping unscathed from combat, particularly in the early stages of the game. On this page, we’ve listed every cloak from Forspoken along with its benefits and unlock requirements, to help you plan ahead and perfect your loadout. Fortnite Now Has Its Own Among Us Style Mode Called Fortnite Impostors

The mode is Among Us, more or less, and there’s a trailer for the backstab royale below. Impostors works with up to ten players, and is set on a new level called The Bridge. Players are assigned tasks which makes it seem like they’re behind the scenes of a normal Royale match: repairing the battle pass, preparing chests and llamas, and “delivering Storm reports for analysis”, according to the press release....

Genshin Impact Developer Video Introduces Update 3 0 S Sumeru Region

Here’s the video, which I appreciate for its moody lighting and transparent whiteboards: Sumeru is a hot region with both forest and desert biomes, and its population are famous for not being able to dream. The residents, we’re told, treat this fact as a point of pride and a demonstration of how “rational” they are. Research and knowledge are what the people of the region value most. It makes sense that one of the characters glimpsed is a researcher....

Gloomhaven Pc Review A Loving Adaptation Of The Tabletop Original

All right, so I probably won’t use it much. Five damage at range four is a belter, but that burn hurts for a single target ability. I’ll be smiling when I do, though. Grinning as the scoundrel whips the silver pistol from her hip and deletes a cultist just before he summons a skeleton. Just as I’ve been grinning at these detailed, cel-shaded dungeons and grimy sewers, or the spoken narration before each quest....

God Of War Is Coming To Pc In January 2022

This is Santa Monica Studio’s 2018 God of War, set years after the original series where demigod Kratos went around having a grand old time tearing limbs off the gods of Mount Olympus. He’s moved far beyond their reach to Scandinavia, where he’s become a dad (again) and a widower (again), with a son to raise (as yet not a victim of filicide, nor had his ashes embedded in his dad’s skin)....

Golf With Your Friends Has Left Early Access

Golf With Your Friends is, y’know, crazy golf inside a computer. That means courses can do foolish things impossible or unsafe on your local course. You can play solo but it clearly is intended for multiplayer, with online and hot seat options. It also has a level editor with Steam Workshop support. I recently discovered that many Americans do not know the term “crazy golf.” Apparently it’s better known to them as “mini golf,” as if bouncing glow-in-the-dark balls off dinosaur skulls under blacklight was normal golf, and mini golf just shrunk that game down to fit into a leisure complex....

Gotham Knights Trailer Introduces Court Of Owls

Introduced to the comics in 2011, the Court of Owls are a secret society of posh folk who have secretly ruled Gotham for centuries. They’ve done a pretty poor job of that, haven’t they. They became the Batbaddies in in Batprequel TV show Gotham for a bit too. Here, this “behind the scenes” video explains more about them: Gotham Knights is set after the death of Batman, with his Batpals stepping up to Batfight crime in his Batplace....

Gpd S 8In Handheld Gaming Laptop Is Proper Bonkers

The 8in display sounds particularly intriguing. Its resolution of 1280x800 means it doesn’t have a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, but cramming that many pixels onto an 8in screen does actually give it a higher pixel density than most laptop displays. A 15.6in 1920x1080 display, for example, has a pixel density of 141 pixels per inch, but the GPD Win Max bumps that figure up to 189 PPI. That’s not quite as sharp as the Nintendo Switch’s 6....
