YouTuber PippinFTS unveiled the project in a YouTube video earlier this week. It’s awfully dramatic, but give the guy a break - he’s only trying to go and build a planet. PippenFTS’ project is building from Terra 1 to 1, a project headed up by modders orangeadam3 and shejan0. Using a few extra mods to get around the game’s strict world limitations, Terra 1 to 1 uses public terrain datasets, street maps and forest databases to accurately map the earth’s terrain, roads and woodland areas in Minecraft....

When Java and Bedrock arrive on Game Pass next month, they’ll have their own dedicated launcher bringing all the Minecraft games together (Minecraft Dungeons will be there too). In 2022, the Minecraft PC Bundle will be available to buy separately. So, if you buy Java, you’ll get Bedrock, and vice versa. Old players aren’t left out either, as existing owners of one will get the other too. Minecraft Java is only available for folks on PC, and has a pretty heavy modding scene....

As spotted by VG24/7, some players who jumped in to the new Iceborne expansion have noticed a message when they load in saying that “no compatible save was found.” If you allow it, players are reporting that MH:W will start a new save file, immediately replacing and deleting your old data, including your Steam Cloud save. There are threads related to the issue on Reddit and Steam but it’s difficult to say just how many players are affected....

TaleWorlds Entertainment say the initial early access launch comes with Custom Battle and Campaign singlelayer modes, though some features may be missing, some content is re-used, some bits are placeholder, balance is not settled, and you might find bugs. It also has multiplayer with four modes: Skirmish, Captain, Team Deathmatch, and Siege. Over the course of the next year or so of early access, the developers plan to create unique maps for all towns and castles, add more localisations, and generally polish it up....

OlliOlli developers Roll7 have just released RunMe, a weird, free puzzle game that reminds me a lot of 868-Hack. 868-Hack was great, so that’s a promising comparison. As the game’s Itch page says, it’s deliberately opaque. All Roll7 will tell you is that it’s “an esoteric turn based puzzle game with glitch graphics, weird sounds, and a bunch of strangeness”. I’ve played for ten minutes, and can tell you a little more....

The new stuff coming to Paradise Killer, which originally launched on PC in 2020, will include “mysterious new beings” to join the cast of big-boobed goat ladies and talking bartender skeletons, new music (very good, since the soundtrack by Barry “Epoch” Topping already goes unreasonably hard), as well as quests and “general performance enhancements”. Corecell say they attempted to resolve things with PQube but that didn’t work, and they had to terminate the publishing agreement in 2020. Since then, Corecell have tried to regain the rights to AeternoBlade 2 from PQube to no avail. Corecell allege that PQube did offer to return the rights to the game, but only if they would agree to keep the situation secret. It’s a weird one to pilot but is well worth a shot. The ability of Lightforged Crusader to refill your hand whilst also offering a 7 mana 7/7 statline is key to your success, as it often gives you that final bit of damage to get you over the line. Thanks to Ashes of Outland’s Librams and a couple of new toys in Darkmoon Faire, Pure Paladin should continue smashing it....
