Microsoft have been in the process of buying Activision Blizzard since the deal was announced in January this year, with their buyout pending approval by competition regulators in many countries. The UK’s Competition And Markets Authority issued a statement saying they were investigating the deal early in July, with a provisional deadline for any further investigation set for the beginning of September. “Specifically, with respect to Activision Blizzard video games, there is nothing unique about the video games developed and published by Activision Blizzard that is a ‘must have’ for rival PC and console video game distributors that could give rise to a foreclosure concern,” read Microsoft’s response to the New Zealand Commerce Commission, published in a report from June....

Erk. I… I don’t think I like Mafia any more. I’ve loved Mafia for years. I loved it in 2002 when it came out. I still loved it in 2011 when I last returned to Lost Haven. So, Caves & Cliffs Part 2 will add new terrain generation and let players explore beyond the current lowest layers. Once you get past Y=0, you’ll hit the Deepslate layer where you can find ore veins. On top of that, underground you’ll find Lush Cave and Dripstone Cave biomes. With the former bringing some greenery to Minecraft’s caverns, and the latter adding stalactites and stalagmites. Above the ground, mountains will be able to grow higher, and will have sub-biomes....

The two-part Artemis “Monster Hunter” Movie Quest will arrive on December 3rd/4th and be available for a whole year. The first part will have Artemis face a Black Diablos in the Wildspire Waste, then she’ll be after a Rathalos. Completing the first quest earns her movie armour set, and the second will give a layered version to wear with any gear.
