CK3’s new duels will be fought across several rounds, with each offering you a selection of moves from a pool - things from fighting cautious to kicking them in the dick....

Dorfromantik really does sound like a very relaxing time - even the developer chatting over the trailer below has a nice soothing voice. In Dorfromantik, you’re given a stack of procedurally generated tiles with various bits of landscape, and it’s your job to click them all together like a freeform puzzle. Got a windmill? If you take time to read the update notes though, it becomes clear that these new changes are storytelling devices as much as adjusted sliders. Since there are no monsters to make tougher, it’s your wallet and psyche that take the hits. It’s had me thinking about how ZA/UM’s surrealist cop odyssey, and other games, express poverty through their systems. Games that invert the traditional power curve of farmhand to godhood, or make us try twice as hard to get half as far....

As the patch notes explain, the major addition is “the function to send summoning signs to summoning pools in multiple areas, including distant areas.” Previously it could be difficult to find a co-op buddy to help when you were in quieter areas of the world, but now you should be able to summon players to your cause from further away. Also, I was around seven years-old when I played Star Fox, so let’s not pretend I ever got past the third level. Maybe Fox did ride a bike.
