Deathloop S Recursive Murders Have Been Delayed

Announced way back at E3 2019, Deathloop is the next game from the folks behind Prey and Dishonored, we got our first proper look at Deathloop during Sony’s PlayStation reveal stream back in June - with the assumption it’d hit alongside the new console this winter. But it looks like the devs need a little more time of their own to bring Deathloop over the finish line. In what’s become an all-too-familiar line, Arkane Lyon today announced via Twitter that the transition to remoted working under the Covid-19 pandemic has pushed the game’s launch back into April-June 2021....

Destiny 2 To Stop Removing Old Expansion

Bungie started sunsetting in 2020 alongside the launch of the Beyond Light expansion. At the time, they explained that “the game is too large to efficiently update and maintain”, so they needed to cut off older bits to keep it manageable. So they introduced the concept of the Destiny Content Vault, shuffling older parts in and out, including reintroducing some bits from the first game. The first sunsetting was huge, lopping off the base game’s whole big story campaign, the first two expansion campaigns, four whole locations, five raids, loads of multiplayer maps and modes, several secret missions, and more....

Devil Daggers Anniversary Update Has Added A Dagger You Ll Never Earn

The details are laid out in a post on Steam. Chief among the changes is the ability to scrub through replays to particular points, which is useful if you’re watching someone good play and they can survive for a long time. It’s less useful to me, whose replays can be watched in the blink of an eye. See also: the new unique dagger added for players who have survived 1000 seconds or more....

Disco Elysium Studio Says Former Employees Were Fired For Egregious Misconduct

Last month it was revealed that game director Robert Kurvitz, art director Aleksander Rostov, and writer Helen Hindpere had left ZA/UM towards the end of 2021. Do Science In Borderlands 3 To Help Real Life Research

An actual scientist will explain far this better than I ever could, so here’s one (who you might recognise from The Big Bang Theory) talking about what Borderlands Science is all about: “The human gut is linked to numerous diseases and conditions, including diabetes, depression, autism, anxiety, obesity and more,” claims The Microsetta Initiative. “By mapping these microbes, the hope is that scientists will be able to better understand these ecosystems, which may help guide future research into novel treatments and interventions....

Does Starfield S Trailer Tease The Elder Scrolls 6 Setting

Skip to 1:17 there for the detail which caught the eagle eyes of fans like “Huhwtfbleh” on Reddit. This: Alright computer, enhance. Enhance. Give me a hard copy of that. That does kinda look like a chunk of High Rock and Hammerfell on some maps of Tamriel, right? Bethesda hardly have an Ordnance Survey map of the world anyway, and it does change shape a bit across the series. This does seem quite a deliberate shape, and out of place on that panel....

Don T Let How Cool The Star Wars Eclipse Trailer Is Trick You This Game Will Not Be Good

Still, last night at The Game Awards we all got a first look at Star Wars Eclipse in the form of a cinematic trailer. And let’s be honest: that trailer is cracking. It’s really good. And it’s so good that I think we all need to remember that there is absolutely no way QD aren’t going to spectacularly boot this. Like, credit where it’s due. That trailer is magnificent. The pounding chorus of drums, the bustling alien market, the asteroid fields, the ships, the battling jedi… it all screams not only “Star Wars!...

Dredge Is A Sinister Otherworldly Fishing Sim Coming In March

Dredge’s most recent trailer has a great bait-and-switch. It starts with all the things you’d expect from a rustic, cartoony fishing sim: the gentle sounds of birds and waves, a cosy sunset, and a quaint seaside port. But when the sun fully sets, the trailer reveals more of what the game’s about. Our player character begins to trade larger and larger fish, until he hands in a catch that’s so deformed, it must be from a different plane of existence....

Dying Light 2 Sure Has Some Familiar Zombie Faces

After the usual livestream yada yada, we got to the good stuff. The “stuff” being a five minute gameplay trailer. You can watch it below: The parkour in Dying Light 2 looks great, honestly. Movement seems super fluid and stringing together a bunch of slick moves would be very satisfying I’d imagine. Ethan Winters’ cooler younger brother really knows how to hoof it. Then after doing some sick flips and slides, there’s a lengthy stealth segment....

Elden Ring Bug Lets You Do Getting Over It Cosplay

It’s thanks to Mimic’s Veil, an item which makes you look like a random scenery prop appropriate to your location (similar to the Dark Souls spell Chameleon). A bug means that combining Mimic’s Veil with certain items (specifically, things which make your footsteps silent, like Crepus’s Vial talisman and the Black Knife armour) will cause your body to reappear in the middle of the prop.
