Paranoia was made by Black Shamrock and Cyanide Studio and published by Bigben Interactive. The space on the Epic Games Store which which Paranoia once occupied now returns simply a 404 ‘Page Not Found’ error. It’s gone. It’s not even clear when exactly Paranoia was pulled from the store. I can see from a site-crawling archive that it was still up on January 17th and, as VG247 noted, comments under an official Facebook post say it was gone by February 3rd....

Hailing from Argentina is this new operator, Flores, an attacker with a penchant for explosive drones. His special gadget, the Ratero Charge, launches a remote controlled drone which also happens to be a timed explosive. Flores can drive it around and detonate it to do damage to enemies, or take out defending traps like barbed wires and shields. RDR2 took the top spot for game of the year, which I can’t personally argue with. I may have even voted for it, but I’ve slept since then. I certainly played a heck of a lot of the online portion of the game in 2020. Despite a rocky launch on multiple storefronts when it arrived on PC at the tail end of 2019, it seems everyone else must have come around on it as well....

Unlike its predecessor, Chronos is just a singleplayer adventure, and doesn’t have online co-op. What it does have, is loads of traditional RPG things. The story is revolves around you, a hero on a lifelong quest to save your home from evil and and all that - you know the drill. Its weapon system is all Soulslike-y, too, in that you have to match up what you’re using to the skill it scales with (so some swords work better with Strenth, others with agility, etc....

Rockstar published their statement on Twitter: “Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and remain as committed as ever to delivering an experience to you, our players, that truly exceeds your expectations,” the statement said. Rockstar said there’d be an official update on the game’s progress “soon”, and that they’d release details of the game “when it is ready”. As Katharine reported over the weekend, footage from GTA 6 appeared online and began to spread early on Sunday....

After watching yesterday’s TF2 panel, we were incredibly excited to put our own questions to the TF2 squad. Ellen McLain (the TF2 announcer), Gary Schwartz (Heavy and Demoman), John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper) and Robin Atkin Downes (Medic) answered all our questions including how they each created the voices for the characters and if they would they return for a completely metaphorical release of Team Fortress 3 which - spoilers - was a resounding yes....

Of which I had many in the hour or two I spent in the game’s earliest areas. Start a new game in Salt And Sacrifice and you’ll be faced with a familiar character creation screen....

Available until February 8th, this Newegg deal is available in both the US and UK, although UK buyers only get a total of £165 off the laptop, bringing it to £1069 overall, plus a £60 Newegg gift card instead of the extra peripherals.
