The devs are still remaining quite vague on the game, describing it simply as a story of a girl visiting a Mediterranean island and getting caught up in all sorts of animal antics....

The game stars Leo and Emma, though they might be hard to recognise for a lot of the game because they’ll be clad in costumes granting abilities. Today’s announcement says it has over 80 costumes, and abilities include spinning, blasting water, shooting your fists out, climbing webs, twirling, painting… it has enough that surely they’ll start to run out of skill ideas and you’ll end up with “make a nice cup of tea” and “put up some shelves....

Lots of folks use Steam and lots of developers release their games on Steam. Thanks to the Steam Community in the Steam store, it’s also a handy way for developers to let players know about upcoming updates or development progress on games that haven’t released yet. Steam’s new guidance to developers dictates that their Steam communication with players shouldn’t mention availability anywhere else. The Community Hub for Steam games is actually pretty broad, encompassing the News posts functionality that developers often use to distribute patch notes or development updates....

With games you haven’t played in ages, Steam already postpones auto-update downloads until off-peak times. Now Valve have announced they’re going even further, and “are now spreading these updates out over several more days.” It basically means all that stuff you have installed but haven’t touched in a while will be updated at a few separate times in the week when bandwidth usage is typically lower (late at night, or in the early hours)....
