The video jumps around to different Fall Guys quite a bit but you can piece together a vision of the entire level by the time it’s through. It starts out with an upward trek through some sparingly-placed spinning axes but quickly goes downhill—literally—from there. There are rolling logs with spikes to sprint across, a downward slime slide through some much more devious axes, big spikey rollers that may push you through holes in the floor, and lastly some tricky drawbridges....

Ubisoft today announced that another three executives have resigned as the company continue trying to deal with the recent allegations of serious and widespread harrassment and abuse. The three stepping down are chief creative officer Serge Hascoët, global HR head Cécile Cornet, and Yannis Mallat, the managing director of Ubisoft’s Canadian studios. This comes a few days after the resignation of Maxime Béland, vice president of Ubisoft’s Editorial department. I was sceptical when Ubisoft first announced their desire to improve, but I can’t deny some big changes are happening - Hascoët was one of the most powerful men at Ubi....

And from this I became very interested in the history of Jackass, and discovered that there was a PS2 era video game called Jackass: The Game. Chop Goblins puts you in the slightly dodgy shoes of someone who’s broken into the local museum to rummage amongst the artefacts inside, only to accidentally free the titular nasty goblins from a trunk in the basement. Favourite goblin pastimes include chopping all and sundry up with meat cleavers, so you’ll have to track them down and put them down. Szymanski’s crammed a bunch of distinct time periods into the FPS game to pursue the chop goblins through, from the present day to 1800s Transylvania, ancient Greece, and the near future....

Ironburg were awarded a patent in 2014 for a controller that “has two additional controls located on the back in positions to be operated by the middle fingers of a user.” The Steam Controller had buttons on its rear in that position. SCUF Gaming are the makers of custom controllers, several of which feature remappable buttons on the back as per the patent. “Valve did know that its conduct involved an unreasonable risk of infringement, but it simply proceeded to infringe anyway — the classic David and Goliath story: Goliath does what Goliath wants to do,” Ironburg’s lawyer argued, as reported by Videogames Chronicle....
