Now that it’s 2021, the game is set in 2090. “Now that it’s 2021, I can safely spoil that Disc Room will always be Set In The Future,” Nijman writes. “It used to be set in 2089, but just so that our ancestors don’t have to deal with the whole “this is the year disc room was set in” drama we add an extra year whenever necessary....

Publishers Bandai Namco announced Elden Ring at E3 2019 and then… nothing. Well, now we know what we probably could have guessed: it is indeed quite Dark Souls-y. Though I will confess I am surprised by quite how Dark Souls-y it seems. Lords? Flames? Curses? Horrible giant hand monster? Gothic castles? Knights? Bonfires? Summoning glowing friendly folks? Seen it all before. Very happy to see it all again. The game’s website says Elden Ring has “vast fantastical landscapes and shadowy, complex dungeons that are connected seamlessly,” and that we’ll be able to roam around on foot or on horseback....

This is a nice trailer, even for me who does not has not will not play Elden Ring: The PvP modes take place within the colosseums of Limgrave, Leyndell and Caelid. From the trailer above, it seems like you’ll be able to summon Spirit Ashes - companions who can be called to fight by your side. There’s no more information than this in the post announcing the update, sadly. Before Elden Ring, Dark Souls had a fairly vibrant PvP community which created their own customs around dueling one another....

And it’s to do with where I stood in the game’s world. How strong was I? At what point do I take on the big dragon? Should I be here, or over there now? Souls games haven’t traditionally been good at letting you know these things, but Elden Ring felt more confusing. Time to investigate.

The H3 improves on the GSP 350 in a lot of key areas. Its padded, leatherette headband is much more comfortable for starters, and I was able to wear it for a good couple of hours without getting a headache.
