The Kingdoms Of Amalur Reckoning Remaster Is Out Now

Re-reckoning doesn’t look super different from Reckoning, though they say they’ve “retouched all textures” and “improved the rendering engine”. There’s ultrawide support now, as well as some new graphics options, game balance tweaks, and even a new Very Hard difficulty setting. What’s more exciting is that next year the remaster is getting a brand new Kingdoms Of Amalur expansion. It’s called Fatesworn and, well, there aren’t actually any more details on it at the minute....

The Sim S 4 S Latest Expansion Adds Interior Designer As A Proper Career

I’m honestly surprised it took this long for The Sims to get this sort of career. One of the best parts about the game is designing your own homes (or trying to recreate interesting ones from other games). As a sim interior decorator, you’ll need to take into account your client’s budget and preferences to tailor your designs to them. You can have a little fun with it, of course, but it’s still a job....

The Sims 4 Players Are Flooding Their Homes With Ponds

As spotted by PC Gamer, some Sims 4 players are flooding the #ShowUsYourBuilds hashtag on Twitter with actual flooded houses. I would like to be surprised by this development but I must say I’m not. One of the best parts of simulation games is figuring out how to bend the rules in silly ways and this sure does qualify. I gave it a quick try myself in the Pancake residence....

The Sims 4 Werewolves Is The Best Supernatural Add On Pack Yet

In fact, the biggest downside I got from playing Werewolves is that the monsters in question feel more fleshed-out than the perhaps less niche occult types in the game. Players are already calling for Vampires, ROM, and even the mermaids added in Island Living to receive a refresh along Werewolves’ lines, and honestly, I’m kind of on the fandom’s side here. Like many Sims 4 players, I’ve had werewolves high up on my new features wishlist for a while....

The Third Rps Christmas Cracker

Every year Graham opens the secret panel in the back of all our heads (with a little screwdriver) and removes our batteries so we don’t cause any trouble over the break. On January the 4th he’ll put new ones in, but to keep you amused until then we’ve left you a little Christmas cracker with a joke inside. There’s one for every day of the break! You can find articles you might not have read, or help cover the cost of fresh batteries, with the RPS supporter program....

The Totally Legit Crows Developer Conference Is Back

If you recognise this monstrosity, yeah it sure is the same wacky browser MMO called The Club that Crows Crows Crows made back in 2019 for hosting songs made by their Discord members. For the second year in a row it’s now the host of the “industry leading browser MMO replacement for GDC,” taking place in the the totally very real Moscrowne Center. It’s a clipart hellscape with players that have generated names and avatars that you can jump around with and listen to very real, very important CDC talks next to....

The Visual Novel About Axolotls Is Finished Is Deeply Weird And Dark

I came to RB: Axolotl because I love and fear axolotls in equal measure. They are extremely cute and interesting but also unholy horrors of evolution that should not be. I stayed because the game had a similar thematic tension: initially it is a cutesy VN about a pink axolotl named Axy, who is trying to show off for the girl axolotl he likes. But then you meet the other axolotls in the tank....

The Wandering Village S Demo Is Like Building A Lego Set On A Cat S Spine

I’m not usually one for strategy games where you’ve got to manage rocks and wood and allocate workers. Some of that comes down to their many systems frying my little brain, but Onbu has me persevering. Why? Because the resources I’m harvesting and community I’m building help or hinder Onbu. My enemy isn’t some army a mile away, it’s Onbu. I’ll just come out and say it. Onbu is a doofus....

The Wolf Among Us 2 Is Coming In 2023

Wolfamongus, to refresh your memory, is an adventure game based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series. It’s the story of ‘fictional’ characters, mostly from folklore and fairytales, who fled into our reality to escape a civil war. It’s a great comic, and the first game is great too (we declared it 2014’s best adventure game). It focuses on Bigby, the fabled Big Bad Wolf, who’s gone straight and acts as sheriff of the hidden district of New York City where the Fables live (it’d be quite bad if humanity discovered magical beings existed)....

There S A Flood Of Cheap Ex Mining Gpus But You Probably Shouldn T Buy One

First off: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Second, while it’s entertaining to imagine desperate crypto barons hosting a kind of QVC channel for dusty PC components, I wouldn’t necessarily take this as a long-overdue opportunity to upgrade your graphics card on the cheap. That’s not so much to do with the potential health of these cards. Buying used tech is always a bit of a gamble but research by Linus Tech Tips suggests that even after being run 24/7 for months on end, ex-mining cards tend to only be negligibly slower than new models at worst....

This Cute Hidden Object Game Conceals Almost 800 Rabbits

It’s a simple proposition: across 15 pretty illustrations from a variety of artists, find and click on almost 800 rabbits and over 600 carrots. If you want, I suppose you can imagine clicking on a bunny counts as petting a bunny. Bunnies in launderettes. Bunnies in bedrooms. Bunnies journeying through space. Bunnies amidst a kaiju fight. Bunnies amidst nuclear ruins. Bunnies at the swimming. Bunnies… honestly, I’m not sure where some of these places are, but I dig ’em....

This Database Catalogues Games By Accessibility

Run by Dagersystem, the Accessible Games Database tracks accessibility features like how much control a player has over rebinding controls in a game, interface and color settings, subtitle styles, and more. What makes it particularly useful is that you don’t need to individually hunt down games you might be interested in. The AGD allows you to filter its catalog of games based on those criteria, helping you discover games you might not have known supported certain features....

This Fallout 76 Player Made A Killer Maths Test

As spotted by Eurogamer, the player called “Vault101manguy” has posted a YouTube video with his newest build. In the past, Vault101manguy has made a Deathclaw maze, a murder church, and other killer creations. Definitely the kind of wastelander you want as a friend and not an enemy. According to the YouTube video description, he was trying to come up with the “most terrifying, heinous threat someone could encounter in the wild....

Three New Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass For Pc

If you just want the names, here you have them: Children Of Morta, Gris, and A Plague Tale: Innocence. Them’s the games that you have to look forward to coming next to Xbox Game Pass. In Sin’s Children Of Morta review, she felt that the Diablo-ish roguelikelike took too long to hit its stride. Despite a story that doesn’t leave a mark, the combat is worth having some fun with....

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Review

I know we’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but also what else am I supposed to judge a book on when I’m standing in the shop deciding which one to buy? And if the cover says ‘Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion’ on it, obviously any sane person would be immediately drawn to it. But the tax evasion is only the inciting incident that sets Turnip Boy on a surprising, engaging, and extremely funny journey....

Twitch Are Clarifying Their Rules About Nudity Again

After removing and then un-removing a clip of a streamer breastfeeding a baby on stream last year, Twitch said “Community Guidelines will need to be updated to provide a level of transparency which will take time but I can assure it’s on the agenda.” Whelp, the rules have been updated now and they do seem like an improvement, allowances for context and all. Here are the highlights from Twitch’s new policy: Twitch also clarify that for areas which are required to be covered, semi or fully-transparent articles of clothing do not constitute coverage....

Ubi Battle Royale Hyper Scape Launches Next Month

Of course, you can hop into Hyper Scape’s open beta right now. But if you want those new goodies, you’ll have to stick around ’til August 11th for the game’s “official” launch and Season One debut. Annoyingly, we don’t really get any more on the specifics of what Season One will bring. There’s a new gun, a new hack (I’ll get to those), and the customary battle-pass required by all free-to-play games these days....

Ultimate Audio Bang 25 Was Modern Warfare 2 S Multiplayer Beta Any Good

Sorry if you’re not a Call Of Duty fan, as Hayden and I pretty much only talk the beta weekend for this episode. No tangents, incredibly. But if you’re interested in COD, then we delve into the lack of red dot markers, the footstep audio, the gun-feel, and tactical pacing. It’s proper nerdy stuff! Then in a slightly messy transition to the second half of the pod, we chat about Warzone 2....
